To verify your Luno account, you’ll need to provide proof of identity and may be asked for additional information like proof of address or bank statements. Luno requires two documents: a valid passport and a clear, recent selfie. Once verified, you can add a bank account as a beneficiary to withdraw funds, according to Luno’s Help.
- Proof of Identity: You’ll need a color photo or scan of a national ID card, passport, or driver’s license.
- Selfie: A clear, recent (no older than 24 hours) selfie is also required.
- Proof of Address: Luno may ask for a recent proof of address (not older than 3 months).
- Source of Funds: You may need to provide the last 3 months’ bank statements for accounts used to deposit funds into your Luno wallet.
- Adding a Bank Account: Once verified, you can add a bank account to your Luno wallet as a beneficiary for withdrawals, says Luno’s Help.

- Sign in to your Luno account.
- Select “Profile” from the menu.
